All the Pie, Oh My! A thanksgiving compilation.

A compilation of amazing pie recipes just in time for the holidays.

7 min read

Pie night! What a wonderful phrase. My husband grew up with a wonderful thanksgiving tradition of having dessert first. Each Thanksgiving eve, friends and family would gather at church for fellowship and to enjoy all the Thanksgiving desserts they knew they wouldn't have room for after Thanksgiving dinner. Brill!

And apparently my husband’s family is not the only one with wonderfully sweet traditions.  For fun new twists on holiday traditions and treats, find time around the table to ask your friends about some of their festive pastimes.  You’ll find yourself having fascinating and heart warming conversations about memorable moments that make their holidays feel like home…ones you will soon be adding to your own celebrations. This year, I learned several new recipes from friends, including a recipe for such a thing as Snickers salad!! (Uh- yes please!)

If an excuse to eat dessert first or have chocolate bars in your salad appeals to you, too, below is a link to several fall themed desserts to add to your new Pie Night tradition!  I hope these delicious desserts will help you celebrate all you are thankful for this year.  I know I am thankful for each of you and the opportunity to give thanks for all our many blessings this year.
