Chocolate, coconut, and caramel goodness make these cookies a wonderful fall treat!

The spooky season is upon us and that calls for a little magic! No trick, just treats! These cookies are super easy to make and offer a fun twist on the traditional magic bars I grew up with. Still filled with the flavors of chocolate, coconut and the creamy caramel sweetness of condensed milk, these cookies are sure to put a spell on any and all takers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 ¼ cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 ¼ cup chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup shaved coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. 
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper 
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  4. Gently mix in vanilla, condensed milk, and eggs.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking soda).
  6. Gently add the dry ingredients into the creamed sugar mixture.
  7. Fold in the graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, pecans, and coconut.
  8. Bake at 375 F for ~12 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool and the magic to begin!
